Debian apt upgrade issues - SOLVED
Recently I've been running into an error that is making upgrading my Debian server seem impossible.
I've attached a couple of files to this post, including the output of /var/lib/dpkg/status and the output errors that aptitude gives upon trying aptitude upgrade.
I've tried removing the virtualbox 2.1 listing from /var/lib/dpkg/status, but it hasn't fixed it. At a loss with this.
Further, /var/lib/dpkg/available seems to be an empty file.
Appreciate anyone who might be able to help fix this annoying problem. I'd rather not have to go through the hassle of a reinstall (although if I did I'd set up RAID0 on the boot drive as well as the RAID5 thats currently set up for storage).
