I managed to get Gallery 2.1.2 up and running on www.geekgothgrrl.co.uk but then I managed to stuff it up.

I'm currently waiting for 27.9MB to upload, so I can try again, only 3Mb to go!

Should then be able to migrate away from image.module as it seems to be fubar in terms of using Gallery Remote with it (well iPhoto2gallery plugin for iPhoto anyway). Which is annoying.

With Gallery installed I should be able to upload directly to it with iPhoto, and have all the images named, and commented correctly.

It will mean directly linking and commenting from Drupal.org“>Drupal will be a bit limited, as the images won't be indexed as Drupal nodes. But I'll probably keep a small number of images in the Drupal image galleries just to be able to use in pages, and link to the Gallery install from the pages to more photos, etc.
