I've not been able to do a lot with the site recently due to hospitalisation and resultant recovery.

I've upgraded to the latest drupal 5.x however, and removed some modules to try to cut the clutter a bit.

I am intending a site overhaul at some point, for now it'll suffice with the new LiteJazz theme I've installed, I kinda like it myself, seems pretty slick.

I'm going to be setting up a clone of the site on my server at home and also getting a dev site up and running under Drupal 6. Drupal 6 is looking like it will be a promising and exciting release.

I am likely to do a fresh, clean install of Drupal for Drupal 6.x's release. I am considering ways in which to get away from needing to use Gallery2 however, as I find it too heavyweight and problematical.

Not sure yet what to replace it with though. Possibly will go back to drupal's own image galleries again.

I've also been keeping an eye on the upcoming Ecto 3 release.

I'm not however considering an upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard”, as my PowerMac is too slow for it and I use my iBook too much to risk it, I may however try it on an external firewire drive.

Something else I've been doing recently has been to look at XBMC, my current GF, Kat, has successfully SoftModded her XBox with XBMC and I was impressed, I'm intent on doing the same to mine. Stay tuned.

I'm slowly getting there and hope to return to Voluntary work soon, and hopefully paid employment will follow early next year.

I am intending also to make use of the PHP book Kat lent me, as well as make use of the Python (Programming, not Monty) books I aquired earlier in the year on Freecycle.

I'd quite like to learn Mono/C# as well as Objective-C (OS X Cocoa) too.
