Currently residing in Bolton for the weekend visiting a friend for her birthday bash. Good fun will be had I reckon :D I've been terrorising people with Polarbear due to lack of Sealpup :D

I've been setting up stuff on my Compaq DL380G2.

One of these is IMAP/IMAPS. I'm now able to get my email at home or away via IMAPS. I simply need to change the server address from local to remote in Thunderbird (i've not gotten round to setting up a seperate account for it yet).

I've been updating just now a few of the panels pages on Vivas.

What I've done is updated:

• Cheesy to reflect his having been sold on.
• Sidney as above.
• The S74 being given a name - Arthur.
• A new page for the HA Van Paul's getting.

What I've noticed though is, some of the pages have lost their text! so when I feel more upto it I shall have to go and write the content again. Grrr!

Still they needed tidying up anyway.

Sidney is now officially scottish. And will be getting a DTV conversion. Should look wonderful when finished.

The S74 failed its MoT last week, but after having a ball joint and wishbone replaced it has now passed.

Cheesy is to be sold to another member again.

Marvin should be back up and running in a week or so, he is collected Tuesday for full service and MoT and whatever other work needs to be done. I think Paul'll be rather happy when he is done.

Right I've not been able to post anything to this blog for several reasons.

1) I've not actually been able to connect to the site from home at all for several weeks!

2) ecto doesn't seem to want to work with drupal 5.1 it seems :(

Anyway. I can connect again now.

Things have changed a little bit though.

I've split up with Paul. But I have a new partner now, Ellie , who doesn't sadly live close by, but is wonderful so I'm rather happy! :)

Been far too busy sadly to update this site/blog.

My life has started to get a lot busier since I started doing more voluntary work as well as the small amount of paid work.

As well as this I've signed up to the Open University to do a short 'Openings' course entitled 'Introduction To The Arts'. Its a short 20 week course that should hopefully give me an appreciation of how OU study works and prepare me for the proper course I've signed up for that starts in OCtober.

That'll be the first part of a BA (Hons) History degree. I'm looking forward to starting that, as history is definitely something that intruiges and fascinates me.

I've updated the content slightly in all of the Viva panels. All the photos are correct at least.

I still need to go back over all of the content in them and re-write some of it to bring it up-to date and so on.

I also still need to re-write/re-jig the Zaurus panels as well.

But for now, they'll do and they all work as they should (apart from the Firenza one for some reason, but that might be just the admin theme being a pain with it).

One final thing to do now is remove the link to Image Galleries from the main menu and replace it with a link to the Embedded Gallery 2 content instead.

Well I've removed all of the images bar a small selection from the image module install on Drupal. So now all of the images are on the Gallery 2 installation.

I had hoped to link to the pictures as thumbnails from the car pages, but it seems the panels module doesn't allow for this, which is irritating!

Have updated a few of the panels pages (namely a few of the Viva pages and the Cats page).

Christmas (despite my rant previously) was fairly quiet and in the end pleasant enough really.

New Year was pretty darn good really. Spent in the company of a great bunch of people whom I am glad to be able to think of as my friends. Would of been nice to have shared that with Paul, but he declined to. So his loss.

2006 has been a bit of a uphill struggle really. But one that has been worth it I think overall.

I've managed to gain employment and feel very near to being able to get off my benefits and get into the employment world. This *WILL* happen in 2007.

Things deteriorated in some regards, but this is not the place to post thoughts about such things. My LiveJournal is for that really as I have more control over who sees what and am more able to protect myself so to speak.
