New Page Added :)

A new page has now been added for the S74 :)

Not too happy with the images (in terms of layout/positioning).

I'm coming to the conclusion that this barlow theme just doesn't work when images are being used/viewed etc. So another theme (another time) will be selected. Bear with me in the meantime!

Not much else to say. Still happily playing with iBook (will probably post a page about that at some stage!).

[posted with ecto]

Long time no post and so on...

Right I've not been able to post anything to this blog for several reasons.

1) I've not actually been able to connect to the site from home at all for several weeks!

2) ecto doesn't seem to want to work with drupal 5.1 it seems :(

Anyway. I can connect again now.

Things have changed a little bit though.

I've split up with Paul. But I have a new partner now, Ellie , who doesn't sadly live close by, but is wonderful so I'm rather happy! :)

Long TIme No Update

Been far too busy sadly to update this site/blog.

My life has started to get a lot busier since I started doing more voluntary work as well as the small amount of paid work.

As well as this I've signed up to the Open University to do a short 'Openings' course entitled 'Introduction To The Arts'. Its a short 20 week course that should hopefully give me an appreciation of how OU study works and prepare me for the proper course I've signed up for that starts in OCtober.

That'll be the first part of a BA (Hons) History degree. I'm looking forward to starting that, as history is definitely something that intruiges and fascinates me.

panels updates stuff

I've updated the content slightly in all of the Viva panels. All the photos are correct at least.

I still need to go back over all of the content in them and re-write some of it to bring it up-to date and so on.

I also still need to re-write/re-jig the Zaurus panels as well.

But for now, they'll do and they all work as they should (apart from the Firenza one for some reason, but that might be just the admin theme being a pain with it).

One final thing to do now is remove the link to Image Galleries from the main menu and replace it with a link to the Embedded Gallery 2 content instead.

Tinkering and so on...

Well I've removed all of the images bar a small selection from the image module install on Drupal. So now all of the images are on the Gallery 2 installation.

I had hoped to link to the pictures as thumbnails from the car pages, but it seems the panels module doesn't allow for this, which is irritating!

Have updated a few of the panels pages (namely a few of the Viva pages and the Cats page).

Pleasant surprises...

Well Christmas Day turned out to be a pleasant surprise, which was nice.

I had feared I'd be all gloomy and stuff about it due to various reasons, but it was simple, calm and well rather nice really.

Paul got me Terry Pratchett's latest book (Wintersmith), which was very nice. He seemed to like the Maglite I got him (one of the big 3 D cell ones) too.

Watched a film on the TV and then played on the XBOX to kill time for a few hours, which was pretty good fun really, although we were both a bit rubbish at the games, it passed the time till we could go back to Paul's for dinner and so on.

Site migration nearly complete!

Last night I managed to finally get the site migration nearly finished.

Pretty much everything has been migrated now. All the Viva pages have been migrated to the new install and now use the 'panels' rather than the 'dashboard' module, which seems to be a lot neater really. So that is good.

I've really only to do a check of the content to make sure I've not missed anything, and the only stuff I've not transfered is the Links pages. But I'll be creating a links database for those on the new install anyway.

Before the migration happens, I'll upgrade the new install to 4.7.4 (the latest stable version).
